Compliance Specialist I | USA

About the Opportunity:

We're currently seeking Criminal Justice students in their 3rd or 4th year or recent graduates looking to kickstart their careers in compliance and financial investigations. This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience in anti-money laundering (AML) and due diligence work, even if you don't yet have full-time work experience.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct sanctions and politically exposed persons (PEP) screenings using Bridger, the enterprise screening platform
• Perform enhanced due diligence (EDD) research on individuals and entities
• Collaborate with business units and compliance teams to assess potential risks
• Document findings clearly and accurately for internal reporting
• Learn and apply regulatory and compliance frameworks in daily tasks

What We're Looking For:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Political Science, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
• Good analytical and investigative mindset
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable conducting internet-based research
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• No prior experience required - we will train the right candidate

Preferred But Not Required:

• Familiarity with AML concepts or sanctions screening
• Experience with Bridger Insight or other screening tools
• Local to the Phoenix, AZ area
