* Set up VPNs, content filtering, intrusion prevention, and traffic shaping policies

* Assist with firewall migrations, rule reviews, and integration with client authentication systems

Client Communication & Support

* Provide technical documentation, as-built diagrams, and handoff training to client IT staff

* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions from project to support phase

Required Skills & Experience

* 7+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure engineering, with VAR, MSP, or consulting background strongly preferred

* Proven expertise in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and related core infrastructure services

* Strong working knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix platforms

* Hands-on experience with firewalls, including Fortinet, SonicWall, and Meraki

* Comfortable working in hybrid cloud environments (on-prem + Microsoft 365, Azure, etc.)

* Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites when required.

Preferred Qualifications

* Relevant certifications: VMware VCP, Microsoft (MCSE/MCSA), Nutanix NCP, Fortinet NSE, CCNA/CCNP, or similar

* Familiarity with scripting or automation (PowerShell, etc.)
