We are seeking a Director of Corporate Strategy to join our high-impact team. This individual will be a key contributor to IFF's strategic agenda, helping define the company's long-term priorities and value creation roadmap. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Strategy and working closely with the CFO's office, this role will directly influence enterprise-level decisions and partner with leaders across Finance, Business Units, and the Executive Team.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Strategy & Financial Vision

• Lead the annual enterprise strategic planning process, aligning divisional strategies with corporate priorities and crafting IFF's long-term vision and value creation narrative.
• Drive long-term financial modeling and scenario planning, with a focus on capital deployment, resource allocation, and return on invested capital (ROIC).
• Partner with the CFO, FP&A, and Investor Relations teams to ensure strategy is financially grounded and clearly communicated to external stakeholders.

Strategic Insight & Value Creation

• Evaluate external trends-macroeconomic, market, customer, and competitive-and connect insights to enterprise strategy and portfolio positioning.
• Analyze internal performance data and identify opportunities for enhanced productivity, margin expansion, and sustainable growth.
• Translate strategic ambitions into tangible financial targets, KPIs, and operational milestones to monitor execution progress and impact.

Executive Leadership & Board Engagement

• Develop and deliver high-impact presentations and materials for the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors, with a focus on articulating strategic choices and financial implications.
• Support C-suite discussions with data-driven insights and structured recommendations that drive informed decision-making.

Strategic Projects & Business Partnership

• Lead or co-lead cross-functional strategic initiatives, including M&A screening, market entry, portfolio optimization, and transformation workstreams.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, shaping and challenging their strategic thinking with financial discipline and structured problem solving.
• Develop business cases and investment theses for critical growth initiatives, emphasizing long-term value creation and strategic fit.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent graduate degree strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in corporate strategy, top-tier management consulting, investment banking, or strategic finance.
• Proven ability to translate strategic priorities into financial outcomes and vice versa; strong knowledge of value creation levers such as ROIC, margin improvement, and capital efficiency.
• Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills with a structured, hypothesis-driven approach to problem solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record of crafting compelling, executive-ready presentations.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in global or matrixed organizations is a plus.

Compensation ($180 - $210K base) is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
