This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to help design and deliver high-performance, modular Electrical House solutions that meet the evolving needs of theenergy, technology, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. As a Project Engineer, you will be instrumental in managing thetechnical execution of eHouse projects from concept through commissioning ensuring compliance with industry standards, clientspecifications, and safety regulations. The work model for the role is: hybrid (#Li-Hybrid) in Houston, TX, Mebane, NC or Lake Mary, FL.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Engineering Design & Integration: Lead the design of modular Electrical House solutions, integrating mechanical, electrical, and safety systems in compliance with industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, IEC).
  • Project Execution & Quality Assurance: Manage engineering plans, coordinate reviews, and lead FATs, commissioning, and quality checks to ensure timely, compliant project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Technical Support: Partner with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues, drive improvements, and provide technical support throughout procurement, fabrication, and installation.
  • Risk Management & Mobility: Monitor subcontractor performance, manage risks, and adapt plans as needed, with flexibility to travel up to 30% for project needs.
Qualifications for the role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience (experience in Electrical House (eHouse) solutions across energy, industrial, and infrastructure sectors preferred).
  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of structural design, HVAC, fire suppression, modular systems, and electrical distribution components (e.g., switchgear, MCCs, UPS, transformers, control panels).
  • Regulatory & Standards Compliance: Proven experience ensuring safety and regulatory compliance with industry standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, IEC, IEEE, and ISO.
  • Project & Design Leadership: Skilled in leading design reviews, managing engineering plans, conducting FATs and commissioning, and preparing technical documentation (BOMs, schematics, reports).
  • Tools & Communication Skills: Proficient in CAD and electrical design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, EPLAN), with strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration; PE license preferred.
