Position Title: Associate Director of Student Engagement and OutreachCompensation: Department: Office of Undergraduate ProgramsAbout this opportunity: Envision yourself as part of a collaborative and innovative team that has a deep commitment to student success. This position will formulate and implement strategies to recruit, retain, and guide students in the Miller College of Business to academic success. The position will be responsible for attracting prospective students to Miller College of Business, developing strategic partnerships with high schools, facilitating student internship experiences, and teaching undergraduate students. What you'll do and what you'll bring: Position Function: The Associate Director of Student Engagement and Outreach formulates and implements strategies to recruit, retain, and guide students in the Miller College of Business to academic success. The position is responsible for attracting prospective students to Miller College of Business, developing strategic partnerships with high schools, coordinating internship opportunities and placements, and teaching undergraduate students. The Associate Director reports to the Assistant Dean of Student Outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Business or related field by date of appointment. Minimum Experience: Three years of experience in curricular or educational assessment, recruitment or admissions, student support, and/or program monitoring/quality improvement. Other: Excellent organization and time management skills; Passion for student success and retention; Strong in communication and customer service; Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends and willingness to travel. Preferred Qualifications: Terminal degree in business or related field. Preferred Experience: Five years of experience in higher education, business, and/or related field; Experience in undergraduate recruitment or admissions; Experience in college student success; Experience teaching college-level classes in business.
