Position Title: Part-time Instructor of JapaneseCompensation: Department: Modern Languages & Cultures - TempStart Date: 08/11/2025About this opportunity: Part-time instructor semester-by-semester position, non-benefited, in the areas of Japanese language classes. Primary responsibilities include teaching a Japanese language course. Modality to be determined. Applications will remain active until the position is filled.Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. What you'll do and what you'll bring: Teaching a Japanese language course. Modality to be determined. Teaching assignment may be from the 100-300 level. Perform other duties as assigned by department chairperson. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree or higher in Japanese or appropriate related field, from an accredited institution by date of appointment. Native or near-native fluency in Japanese and English. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Japanese or appropriate related field. Evidence of successful Japanese language teaching at the college level.
