Position Title: Instructor of Mathematical SciencesCompensation: Department: Mathematical Sciences - TempStart Date: 08/15/2025About this opportunity: The Department of Mathematical Sciences is seeking part-time instructors as part of a pool that will be reviewed and hired as needed.* Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. What you'll do and what you'll bring: Teach mathematics courses which may include quantitative reasoning, precalculus, calculus, introductory statistics, and more advanced courses, depending on Department needs and applicant qualifications. Evidence of high-quality teaching is necessary to be eligible for reappointment. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in a mathematical science or closely related field from an accredited institution by date of appointment, with at least 18 graduate semester hours of coursework in mathematics. Effective written and oral communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: College teaching experience. Experience or interest teaching online.
