The mission of the Program on Integrative Medicine ( PIM) is to enhance the public's health and to improve the effectiveness and safety of healthcare through the appropriate integration of complementary and alternative medicine ( CAM) with mainstream healthcare. Areas of emphasis include research, education, clinical practice, and community collaboration.
Position Summary
Integrative Medical Group Visit Co-Facilitator
This person will have a lived experience of chronic pain and will have participated in a previous Integrative Medical Group Visit. They need to have a desire to connect with and support people with chronic pain.
The position involves co-facilitating an Integrative Medical Group Visit via Zoom for people with chronic pain. The group visit occurs weekly for 2 hours. There is also a hour planning meeting weekly. This position is hybrid with 90% virtual and 10% in person.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Lived experience with chronic pain. Former participation in an Integrative Medical Group Visit.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Experience with co-facilitating medical group.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
