We are seeking a skilled Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems Repair & Technical Specialist to provide advanced-level repair, maintenance, and technical training support for sophisticated airborne EW systems, including the AN/ALQ-99 Tactical Jamming System (TJS), on the EA-18G Growler platform. This position involves hands-on diagnostic and repair work, collaboration with U.S. Navy personnel, and the delivery of detailed technical training on complex test equipment and systems.

Duties:



  • Perform advanced repair and maintenance on EW systems, subsystems, and components
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in collaboration with fleet personnel and SMEs.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, installation, soldering, and replacement of modules and subassemblies.
  • Perform intermediate and depot level maintenance that exceeds organizational maintenance capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot and repair EW systems including AN/ALQ-99 TJS components and test benches.
  • Conduct technical assessments, performance verification, and calibration validation.
  • Provide OJT, written instructions, and hands-on training to Navy and civilian personnel.
  • Comply with applicable military instructions and standards.


Desired Education:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent with an additional two (2) years of experience.
  • Certified or able to obtain certification in IPC or Miniature/Microminiature (2M) soldering standards.


Desired Experience:



  • Minimum of 4 years equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Experience with intermediate or depot-level troubleshooting and repair of airborne EW systems.
  • Proficiency with EW-related ATE systems, particularly CASS and high-power test sets.
  • Prior military or DoD experience in an avionics or EW maintenance capacity.


This position is covered by the Service Contract Labor Standard under a Wage Determination. As such Under the SCA selected candidates are entitled to both the hourly rate aforementioned and a health and welfare benefit. Precise Systems is meeting that benefit through the use of a bona fide plan which includes certain insurance coverage.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
