Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented actuarial professional to join the Life Valuation and Asset Liability Modeling (ALM) team's model oversight function. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrity of actuarial models used in various life insurance valuation and projection processes. The oversight function serves as a liaison between valuation and ALM production teams, actuarial model developers, risk management, and finance, ensuring models are fit for use and aligned with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do:
* Oversee model lifecycle management from Life Valuation and ALM's perspective, including prioritizing enhancement requests, implementation testing, and ensuring timely execution of model changes for annual assumption updates and regulatory compliance.
* Coordinate and perform model validation and review processes to support valuation and ALM reporting functions as well as in collaboration with internal and external auditors.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive model documentation including model methodology, assumptions, and limitations.
* Collaborate with various internal actuarial functions including valuation, pricing, experience studies, and model development teams to ensure consistent assumption usage and model methodology.
* Contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives focused on data consolidation, governance, and reporting standardization.

What You'll Bring:
* Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
* 6+ years of actuarial experience, preferably in insurance, financial services, or consulting.
* ASA designation required; FSA preferred.
* Familiarity with relevant US life insurance statutory financial reporting, asset adequacy testing, and other similar regulatory standards.
* Demonstrated success in managing audits, model governance, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
* Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Familiarity with FIS Prophet actuarial software.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:$110,000-$180,000

Overtime eligible:Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes

Sales bonus eligible:No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
