Salesforce Inc. seeks Staff Software Engineer Security in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Work directly on the Slack Security Operations team with a focus on threat detection, logging, and remediation. Detect threats and help Slack be more secure. Help to develop eBPF tooling and author detections therein. Creatively scale and operate the infrastructure and tools that handle millions of events per second. Respond to our on-call rotation during your working hours to fix services we run and investigate potential threats. Identify and develop new features and a roadmap to augment existing tools to protect Slack's production infrastructure and to help make our business lives simpler, more pleasant, more productive, and more secure. HQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), Cyber Security, Information Security, or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field), Cyber Security, Information Security).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Malware analysis; (2) Network analysis; (3) Automation development; (4) Supporting complex incidents or large investigations; (5) Working on crisis events for a global company; (6) Creating and maintaining incident documentation; (7) Writing incident reports; and (8) Providing security engineering solutions and support during customer-facing events. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.

Salary: $211,500.00 - $334,600.00 per annum.
