Saint Therese at Oxbow Lake is looking for full-time Director of Plant Oprations to join our dedicated team! For over 15 years, Saint Therese at Oxbow Lake has ensured seniors have every opportunity to enjoy a rewarding lifestyle. With 142 independent living, assisted living, memory care apartments and 64 long-term and transitional care suites, our Brooklyn Park campus is a vibrant, established community where it's easy to establish positive connections. This position will be scheduled to work day hours Monday - Friday (80 hours per pay period).

The Director of Plant Oprations is responsible for:

Performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled building maintenance and housekeeping tasks to maintain the campus. Supervises and provides work direction to building maintenance staff. Assists in formulation of building maintenance and environmental services policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma. Vocational training in related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum five years of mechanical engineering; professional level expertise; two years of management or supervisory experience is required.

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems and HVAC
  • Effective time management/prioritization and problem-solving skills
  • Minnesota Boiler Engineer license
  • Minimum Class 2-C Boiler's License
  • Pool Operator certification
  • OSHA Regulations
  • Managerial and Supervisory skills
  • Knowledge of MN Nursing Home Rules and Regulations
  • Knowledge of CMS Federal Nursing Home Regulations
  • Knowledge of housekeeping equipment and supplies
  • Effective time management, prioritization and problem solving skills
  • Possess computer skills to develop and maintain tracking tools
  • Experience with housekeeping/maintenance software helpful
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Salary Range: $70,000 - $95,000/annually depending on experience.
