Job Summary: The IT Project Manager will lead and coordinate projects within the Hosting Services division of the IT Services group, with a focus on data center networking initiatives. This role requires strong project management skills, technical understanding of server environments (Linux and Windows), and experience with disaster recovery planning and execution. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery. Plan, coordinate, and manage projects related to data center networking, server upgrades, and disaster recovery. - Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. - Track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables using appropriate tools. - Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies. - Provide regular status updates and executive-level reporting. - Ensure compliance with IT security standards and disaster recovery protocols. - Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications: -Strong verbal and written communication skills. -Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. -Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. -Working knowledge of: -Linux server environments (e.g., RHEL) -Windows Server (2012 and newer) -Disaster recovery and business continuity planning -Data center networking concepts -Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow). Sample Projects This Resource may have experience in: Windows Server Upgrade: Coordinate the upgrade of thousands of Windows 2012 servers across multiple teams and business units. Linux Endpoint Protection Deployment: Lead the rollout of Symantec Endpoint Protection across 5,000+ Linux servers in response to security compliance requirements. RHEL 6 to RHEL 7/8 Migration: Manage the transition of legacy Linux systems to supported versions, ensuring minimal disruption to services. Disaster Recovery Enhancements: Oversee improvements to DR capabilities for critical hosting services infrastructure. *Skills* Project management, Agile, Pmp, Program management, Scrum, Project plan, Infrastructure *Top Skills Details* Project management,Agile,Pmp,Program management,Scrum,Project plan *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. PMP or PMI certification preferred. 3-5 years of experience managing IT infrastructure or data center-related projects. *Experience Level* Entry Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
