Job Title: Senior* .NET Developer / Architect (Azure)* Location: Lisle, IL (Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week) Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Position Summary A leading transportation services provider is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Developer/Architect with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure. This role focuses on designing and implementing scalable, high-quality solutions using modern cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will also be groomed for a future leadership role, with the potential to transition into a managerial position. Key Responsibilities * Maintain and enhance existing Azure integrations, ensuring up-to-date technology and reliable performance. * Provide production support and implement necessary fixes. * Conduct system analysis to identify improvements and recommend procedural changes. * Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. * Document design requirements and development processes clearly and effectively. * Apply Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions. * Lead architectural design and implementation of enterprise-level integrations. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. * Proven experience designing and delivering solutions on the Azure iPaaS platform. * Strong background in .NET Core, C#, and RESTful APIs. * Expertise in Azure services including Logic Apps, Service Bus, APIM, Data Factory, Data Lake, Key Vault, and Storage Accounts. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. * Solid understanding of integration patterns (Middleware, Real-Time, File-Based, Event Processing, etc.). * Experience with enterprise application integration and cross-functional system linking. * Familiarity with relational database design and data management techniques. * Hands-on experience in Agile Scrum environments. Preferred Skills * Experience migrating applications from on-premises to cloud or cloud-to-cloud. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple integrations and workflows simultaneously. * Excellent communication and documentation skills.
