Salary Range

Base Salary: $68,755.06 - $79,611.12/annually

The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate for this position and the specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, experience, and/or FTE.

Canvas Health's mental health and substance use disorder providers, clinicians, and staff bring their diverse lived experience to help inform and guide the care they provide to clients. Our integrated programs and services offer coordinated care to people of all ages in their homes, the community, and in our clinics. We strive for excellence in clinical care as we serve those living with mental illness, substance use disorders, crisis, unstable housing, and trauma. Canvas Health is a non-profit, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) specializing in serving clients who are on Medicaid.

Position Summary

This position develops and implements behavioral health accounts receivable, billing and collection procedures; supervises staff, billing and collection functions; maintains departmental documentation; coordinates information flow within the department and between the department and other departments within Canvas Health; trains staff regarding payer billing and reimbursement contracts, regulations and procedures; and communicates with clients regarding billing and collection matters.

Oakdale, MN

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8-4:30 or 8:30-5:00. No weekends.

Minimum Qualifications



  • Possess a two-year college degree in an accounting or finance related field
  • Two (2) or more years of billing, reimbursement, and collections experience in a healthcare organization required
  • Intermediate experience with Excel
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records billing required


Preferred Qualification



  • Four-year degree in an accounting or finance related field
  • Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations
  • Two years minimum behavioral health organization preferred
  • Two years supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience with Credible EHR preferred.
