POSITION SUMMARYU.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm or until work is completed. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee multiple warehouse locations
  • Plan and oversee department operations to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Hire, train, evaluate, and develop associates
  • Ensure cycle counting is done
  • Assure administrative functions are completed timely
  • Maintain physical facility to ensure adequate safety, protect against loss, and represent a professional company image
  • Assist in preparing capital and operational budget
  • Manage inventory
  • Identify potential customers

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear, taste and/or smell; the employee must occasionally lift products weighing up to approximately 80 pounds. Handling of tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) greater than approximately 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, harness, seatbelt, SRL (self-retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. AutoForce except for steel / composite toe boots.
  • Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Fumes associated with tires and occasionally car parts and lubricants prevalent.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in business
  • 5 years of supervisory warehouse, operational or related experience, or equivalent education plus experience
  • Knowledge in material handling and inventory documentation
  • Excellent math and accounting, and financial interpretation skills
  • Effective communicator to a wide range of people at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Ability to deal with customers and suppliers
  • Ability to project a positive image to customers
  • Demonstrated product, technical and customer service knowledge
  • Willing to travel nationally and internationally as required
  • Valid driver's license
  • May need Class B CDL
  • May be required to backup delivery drivers
  • Great Customer Service
  • Knowledgeable in applicable computer software
