The opportunity

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of personalization at scale for Adobe Express. This role is central to driving user retention by building the platform and experiences that deliver tailored, engaging interactions for millions of creators. You will own the end-to-end personalization strategy-spanning both back-end systems and front-end experiences-and collaborate closely with design, engineering, and data teams to bring it to life. Your work will shape how users discover, create, and succeed on our platform.

WhatYou'llDo

  • Define and drive the central personalization strategy across Adobe Express, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
  • Build and scale the platform that enables personalization across multiple teams and surfaces.
  • Partner with content teams to design and deliver personalized content experiences that delight users.
  • Conduct user research and leverage data science insights to identify retention opportunities and inform product decisions.
  • Design and execute A/B experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize key growth metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Engineering, Design, and Data to deliver high-impact initiatives.
  • Manage trade-offs, mitigate risks, and ensure clear communication across stakeholders.
  • Regularly present performance insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

WhatYou'llNeed to Succeed

  • M.B.A a plus. BS BA or equivalent with 10+ years of product management experience, including significant experience in personalization, growth, or retention strategies.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions and optimize user experiences.
  • Expertise in experimentation methodologies (A/B testing) and interpreting results to inform strategy.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Creative problem solver who can translate vision into actionable plans and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred experience with consumer SaaS products, freemium models, and personalization platforms.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $145,100 -- $273,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
