DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will be instrumental in ensuring the facility remains clean and well-organized by undertaking various essential tasks. Your responsibilities will include emptying trash receptacles, sweeping and mopping floors, and thoroughly sanitizing restrooms to uphold hygiene standards. Furthermore, you will assist in the setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, stages, and livestock panels, while also ensuring that the arena seating is clean and prepared for use. Your efforts will significantly contribute to the overall custodial and maintenance operations during and after events, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for both attendees and exhibitors. One of the most fulfilling aspects of this role is the chance to connect with the community and immerse yourself in the distinctive ambiance of each event, transforming every day into a fresh and enjoyable experience.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Temporary, Full-time employment without benefits, 40 hours per week. Work will run from September 2025 through the middle of May 2026.
  • Free on-site parking
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday (limited openings) or 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM (shift differential is $1.25 an hour for 2nd shift), Thursday - Monday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • This position may require overtime as needed.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
