LOCATION OF (1) POSITION(S) TO BE FILLED: DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH & SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES, MOCCASIN BEND MENTAL HEALTH INSTITUTE, HAMILTON COUNTY Qualifications Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and experience equivalent to five or more years of full-time increasingly responsible and varied professional staff work, including at least two years of responsible professional supervisory general services work. Substitution of Experience for Education: Qualifying full-time professional experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of four years. Substitution of Education for Experience: Additional graduate coursework in business, public or hospital administration, or other related acceptable field may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of two years, there being no substitution for the required two years of supervisory general services work experience. Overview The Institutional Services Manager manages institutional support services at a large mental health facility, overseeing staff, operations, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency and compliance. Responsibilities 1. Directs daily institutional support services, ensuring compliance and regulations, policies, and efficiency standards. 2. Supervises personnel, conducts performance evaluations, and implements training to enhance operational effectiveness. 3. Manages budgets, approves purchases, monitors expenditures, and ensures cost-effective use of resources. 4. Enforces institutional policies, oversees safety procedures, and ensures adherence to crisis management protocols. 5. Collaborates with leadership, healthcare teams, and external agencies to optimize service delivery. 6. Oversees maintenance, procurement, and utilization of facility assets, ensuring operational continuity. 7. Maintains records, prepares reports, and ensures regulatory documentation compliance. 8.
