Enterprise Risk Intern (Winter 2026)

Job Summary

The Enterprise Risk Intern identifies, prepares, analyzes, and reports on complex data that supports the activities associated with the design, development, application, and reporting of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) department. This role interacts with various cross-departmental personnel to conduct risk assessment interviews, collect risk data/information, and report on organizational risks.

Internship Timeline: Starting November 2025, duration of 4-6 months

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze risk related data across the organization
  • Develop and maintain risk related reports, files, spreadsheets, and workflows
  • Collaborate and build relationships across the organization
  • Support Enterprise Risk Lead with various initiatives
  • Administer internal risk management software system
  • Coordinate ERM risk update activities within the risk management platform
  • Research and report on emerging risk trends
  • Assist with the preparation and completion of regulatory and annual risk reports
  • Take meeting notes and distribute summaries as needed
  • Manage ERM calendar and coordinate meeting invitations
  • Maintain technology inventory spreadsheets
  • Design data visualizations to communicate risk trends and insights (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
  • Participate in internal audits, compliance reviews, and risk workshops
  • Prepare presentations and summaries for risk meetings and senior leadership

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and/or commensurate experience.
  • Either actively enrolled in an academic institution in pursuit of a degree in Risk, Finance, or a relevant course of study or is a recent college graduate, typically having attained a degree within the past 12 months.
  • Experience with data analysis, including collecting and analyzing data, establishing facts, identifying trends, and recommending solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
