Business Unit Overview

As part of a General Office team, you'll equip agents with the tools, training, and support they need to succeed and thrive. Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, results-driven Business Analyst to join the Field Operations Performance team. In this role, you will analyze and report on performance metrics across our distribution hierarchy-including Agents, Field Management, and Field Offices. You will support strategic initiatives, deliver critical insights, and enhance analytics platforms and tools. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical acumen with hands-on experience in business intelligence platforms, particularly Tableau.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, produce, and maintain recurring performance reports with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to support ad hoc analyses and create tailored dashboards.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across performance reporting systems.
  • Analyze large, complex data sets to uncover trends and performance drivers.
  • Segment performance insights across regions, roles, and demographics to identify opportunities.
  • Contribute to annual strategic planning by forecasting performance trends.
  • Utilize SQL and other tools to query data for ad hoc requests and reporting.
  • Develop enhanced visualizations and dashboards using Tableau or equivalent BI tools.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to refine data sources and performance metrics.
  • Build planning frameworks that align performance trends with recruitment and retention goals.

What You'll Bring:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred and/or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in performance analytics, business intelligence, or financial reporting.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Access, Tableau, and other BI tools (SQL strongly preferred).
  • Advanced Excel skills, including modeling and scenario analysis techniques.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and managing operational or performance reporting systems.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation capabilities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and across teams.
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Intellectual curiosity, particularly around how emerging technologies like AI can enhance reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics.
  • Proven ability to distill complex data into compelling performance narratives.
  • Comfort operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for automation, process improvement, and continuous reporting optimization.
  • Understanding of key performance indicators related to recruitment, retention, and field productivity within a sales-oriented organization.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:$70,000 - $90,500

Overtime eligible:Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes

Sales bonus eligible:No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
