Job Summary and Responsibilities
Acentra Health is looking for a Clinical Educator to join our growing team in Pennsylvania. Job Summary: As a Clinical Educator, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of care for individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism (ID/A). You will be instrumental in supporting caregivers and enhancing the ID support system through targeted educational programs, data collection, and the proactive identification of healthcare concerns. Collaborates with leadership to strategically plan, develop, implement, and evaluate a variety of training programs and initiatives. Your expertise will also extend to the dissemination of critical information and providing specialized technical assistance. This position is designed to empower caregivers with the necessary tools and knowledge to optimize care outcomes and foster an environment of continuous improvement in the support of those with ID/A. **Must reside in one of the following counties in Pennsylvania: Allegheny, Bedford, Cambria, Fayette, Greene, Somerset, Washington, or Westmoreland** Previous Job Responsibilities:
Develop, revise, and deliver targeted training programs designed to enhance the understanding and skills of customers in promoting the health and welfare of individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism (ID/A). Work closely with support teams to enhance outcomes related to systemic issues, improve the quality of life for people facing challenges, and assist in the development and refinement of relevant policies. Maintain and analyze essential data to assess productivity and effectiveness. Generate and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders. Provide training to stakeholders, including healthcare personnel and caregivers, to effectively support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/A) Maintain accurate training and performance data to evaluate program effectiveness and generate insightful reports for leadership. Actively participate in meetings with stakeholders as required, representing the educational initiatives and contributing to collaborative discussions. - Demonstrate a thorough understanding of and adherence to all corporate policies, including HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules, while ensuring compliance with the scope and expectations of the position in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.

Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities or within programs designed to support this demographic. In-depth knowledge of best practices and positive support principles for individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism (ID/A). Advanced critical thinking skills, with a proven ability to interpret data and leverage knowledge acquired through education and professional experiences. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, complemented by strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills with a focus on superior customer service. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Experience in teaching adult learners and familiarity with diverse teaching methodologies.. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, encompassing strong capabilities in creating and managing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- This role may require some travel within the Health Care Quality Unit (HCQU) service area to meet educational and support needs, when needed.
