Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced technical, analytical, and strategic support to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Personnel and Readiness (P&R) Office.
• Ensure the development, integration, and enhancement of readiness analytical tools, models, and processes to support strategic decision-making and policy development
• Provide input for the creation of long-range strategic plans and initiatives.
• Oversee the analysis of data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.
• Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations.
• Provide expert technical and systems engineering support to optimize readiness reporting processes.
• Support the development of long-range strategic plans and initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in operations research, mathematics, statistics or similar field with 10 or more years of experience or Master's Degree with 8 or more years of experience.
• Experience developing and implementing complex analytical models and simulations.
• Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages such as Python.
• Experience in advanced analytics and dashboarding tools such as Tableau and Virtualitics.
• Experience in working with large datasets and performing data cleaning, transformation and visualization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• US Citizenship and possess an active US Government Secret Clearance with ability to maintain the security clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a DoD environment.
• Experience with DoD readiness policies.
• Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, problem-solving, and client service skills.
• Familiarity with DoD policy issuance processes and strategic readiness governance frameworks
