We are looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join our team in MN.
As an Associate Software Engineer you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing and developing software applications for many different users. As part of our Global Technology Services (GTS) team, you will collaborate with experienced engineers and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our business needs.

What you'll do
  • Develop new features for applications using .NET core, web services and SQL Server
  • Design, implement, debug and deliver high quality software
  • Collaborate with team and architects to build application solutions with a high degree of complexity
  • Participate in requirement, design and code reviews
  • Create unit and automated acceptance tests
  • Investigate and resolve issues while working with different functional areas
  • Build quality and resilience into application solutions
  • Adhere to best practices and innovate iteratively and proactively
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation in support of global software systems
What it takes
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills and work ethic
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and improve technical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • .NET development work experience
  • Proficient in C#, Visual Studio, MS-SQL, HTML, JavaScript
  • Experience with multiple .NET patterns and platform technologies like client/server, ASP .NET sites, web services, WCF endpoints, SOA, or MVC
  • Internship or coursework related to software development

Physical Demands:

However, there may be job duties that require the employee to spend time in the manufacturing areas exposed to machinery and noise; eye protection occasionally required. Occasionally works in outside weather conditions. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
