University Student Housing
Position Description Coordinates a section in a department that has institutional oversight responsibilities. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program or departmental project as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and/or students.

Major/Essential Functions Recruitment and Outreach (40%)
- Serve as the primary representative for University Student Housing at on- and off-campus recruitment events, including Top Scholars Receptions, Raider Roadshows, Texas Tech Preview Day, admitted student events, and college fairs.
- Coordinate all logistics for recruitment events and travel by working closely with internal staff and external partners to ensure adequate event coverage, timely preparation, and consistent delivery of housing information.
- Develop, organize, and maintain all housing-related marketing and presentation materials for recruitment efforts, ensuring materials are accurate, aligned with university messaging, and tailored for each audience.
- Collaborate with Undergraduate Admissions and campus partners to align messaging, support enrollment goals, and maximize outreach impact.
- Train and prepare all staff participating in recruitment events to deliver a clear, consistent, and student-centered message on behalf of University Student Housing.
Campus Tour Coordination (40%)
- Oversee the daily operations of housing tours, including scheduling, logistics, and coordination with Student Ambassadors to ensure tours are conducted professionally and consistently. Prepare and maintain all related materials, presentations, and talking points.
- Ensure all tour participants receive an informative, welcoming, and engaging experience that highlights the benefits and value of living on campus.
- Create process to track and analyze tour attendance and engagement data, providing regular reports for leadership to improve recruitment strategies and outreach efforts.
- Manage all aspects of the Showroom Success Program, including the recruitment and selection of student participants, coordination of marketing and promotional efforts, and ongoing collaboration with residents and facility staff to ensure showroom spaces are well-maintained, tour-ready, and reflective of departmental standards.
Department Support and Customer Service (20%)
- Provide high-quality service to students, families, and campus partners by responding to inquiries with professionalism, accuracy, and empathy.
- Support departmental initiatives and events such as move-in, move-out, room selection, and recruitment activities.
- Represent the Welcome Center on departmental committees and contribute to special projects as assigned.
- Ensure timely and effective communication of policy updates, procedural changes, and critical deadlines to internal and external stakeholders to support overall departmental goals and enhance the student experience.
Required Qualifications Bachelors degree plus two (2) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal six (6) years.

Schedule Details M-F: 8am-5pm; travel for conferences & recruitment, overtime for opening weekend
