Description
As our Continuous Improvement Manager, you'll spearhead initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen processes across the business. You'll work cross-functionally to standardize best practices, lead change management efforts, and support a culture of continuous improvement through hands-on training, project execution, and strategic planning. This role plays a key part in driving long-term operational excellence and sustainable growth.
Position Summary
The Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a company-wide CI model to foster operational excellence. This includes analyzing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and leading initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Role Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive continuous improvement (CI) strategy across the organization.
- Evaluate operational processes to identify inefficiencies and promote standardization of best practices.
- Lead initiatives to eliminate waste in both manufacturing and business operations.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to foster a culture of continuous improvement and facilitate change adoption.
- Oversee internal communication rhythms and coordinate training programs to support CI efforts.
- Conduct research to benchmark and integrate industry-leading practices.
- Develop clear documentation and training resources to support process improvements.
- Manage and execute improvement projects using effective project management methodologies.
- Collaborate with external consultants to enhance or accelerate improvement initiatives when appropriate.
- Champion change management efforts and cultivate a collaborative, solutions-oriented work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and continuous improvement tools.
- Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing operations, Lean methodologies (5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen), and process optimization.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams.
- Effective conflict resolution and team engagement skills.
- Excellent analytical thinking and sound decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills and a high level of professionalism.
- Proven ability to manage projects and build strong interpersonal relationships across all levels of an organization.
Minimum Physical Requirements and Accountability:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
- Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.

- Prompt, punctual, and regular attendance during core business hours, in an office environment, including a reliable means of transport to and from work. Ability to occasionally travel between corporate offices and jobsites within the Denver Metro Area, during work hours.
