Part-Time Instructor Pool - Noncredit-CAV Salary: $73.59 Hourly Job Type: PT Noncredit Faculty Job Number: 07/2025-NC-03 Closing: Location: Wake Campus, CA Department: SEL Vocational Basic Functions Essential Functions of Position Provide quality instruction, create and maintain an environment which emphasizes teaching and learning and encourages free discussion of ideas, interests and issues. Primary duties of adjunct faculty members are related to curriculum and teaching; the assignment is divided between lecture and lab classes as determined by the department. Adjunct instructional faculty are required to be available to students outside of class. The starting noncredit adjunct rate from salary table 25 is $73.59 per hour-Lecture and $55.20 per hour-Lab. If you have an advanced degree, the rate is $76.73 per hour-Lecture and $57.54 per hour-Lab. Education and Experience Education and Experience: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must possess the minimum qualifications for the discipline as approved by the California Community Colleges Board of Governors and defined in the Minimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administrators in California Community Colleges handbook. The minimum qualifications for disciplines on this list are any bachelor's degree or higher and two years of professional experience, or any associate degree and six years of professional experience. Professional experience is required when the applicant possesses a master's degree. The professional experience required must be directly related to the faculty member's teaching assignment. Newly adopted title 5 53413 regulations modified and expanded revisions to minimum qualifications for service as an apprenticeship instructor teaching community college credit apprenticeship courses that are part of an apprenticeship program approved by the Division of Apprenticeship Standards. The list of areas included in the discipline is not exhaustive. Only those areas are included for which it might not be clear otherwise whether they were intended to be included.
