Job Overview

The Sr Manager Supply Chain Planningrole plans and manages the forecasting, production, purchasing, and distribution of CCCI andfull goods for our internal sales system and for our contracted bottlers. Priorities are placed on making sure we have the products available to sell and in the right locations while maintaining a low level of inventory across the system. The Sr Manager Supply Chain Planningrole has three primary disciplines: demand forecasting, production scheduling, and fulfillment management. The demand manager oversees forecast accuracy levels, the production scheduling manager oversees manufacturing capability and, the fulfillment manager oversees load optimization.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Product Availability Ensures product is available at the right location, at the right time in order to satisfy customer demand, through developing and analyzing data, planning and coordinating inventory strategies, and through monitoring and communicating trends to key stakeholders
  • Inventory Management Ensures actions are taken to ensure inventory levels are maintained at prescribed levels through the building, implementing, and managing the inventory and execution strategies
  • Forecasting Effectively utilizes forecasting to plan production and inventory levels through collaborating internally with business partners and externally with customers in order to achieve sales and financial goals
  • Management and Leadership Manages, leads, and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating company goals and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training; implementing continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus; and embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership
  • Strategic Planning and Coordination: Drives innovation execution processes, including new SKU launches, product conversions, etc. the assigned functional areas. Works cross-functionally with Product Supply Planning on project initiatives to support best business decisions
  • System development and maintenance ensure system success through identifying and communicating maintenance opportunities, creating systems procedures, maintaining data tables, and identifying system enhancement opportunities

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Sales and Operations Planning, Inventory Management, Procurement, Operational Excellence, and Finance
  • This role must be able to effectively interface across multiple levels of the organization to be a successful computer, office-based, travel to locations for meetings, and to meet personnel (production and distribution centers quarterly)
  • The Supply Chain Planning Manager role is the key role in the success of the Supply Chain Planning organization
  • The Supply Chain Planning Manager has a broad impact on CCCI and inventory management of full good products
  • The role has three primary disciplines: Demand Forecasting, Production Scheduling, and Fulfillment Management

Minimum Qualifications

  • Knowledge acquired through 5 to up to 7 years of work experience
  • Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelordegree (4 years)
