ACARA Solutions and our client in Scottsdale, AZ have a contract-to-hire position available

Network Design Engineering Support Specialist
$61.50 per hour
  • The experienced Network Design Engineering Support Specialist we seek will design and plan network systems and provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
  • You'll deliver specific, detailed information on hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools to create the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
  • Using your extensive network knowledge, you'll coordinate third-party maintenance for network equipment and troubleshoot problems with department users and network administrators.
  • We'll rely on you to maintain technical expertise in all network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing areas, such as routers, multiplexers, hubs, bridges, and gateways.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related technical field and at least 5 years of relevant job experience
      OR
    • Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field and at least 3 years of relevant job experience
      OR
    • In lieu of a degree, 9 or more years of directly related work experience may be considered

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree.
  • Subject matter expert (SME) in one discipline/field and developing working knowledge in adjacent disciplines/fields.
  • Proficient understanding and application of engineering principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
