Overview
The Supply Chain Operations Manager is responsible for the performance of Supply Chain Operations across multiple locations. The Manager's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assessing and meeting customer needs, communicating business goals and objectives to partners, and addressing partner issues and concerns. The Manager is also responsible for monitoring staffing and overtime, issuing corrective actions, completing performance evaluations and maintaining a strong focus on safety in the workplace. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Nursing or related field is required; Master's degree preferred. Three years of leadership experience required. Experience in a hospital supply chain area preferred. CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE Professional certification applicable with degree and experience preferred. If driving a Mercy vehicle, must have and maintain an acceptable driving record per Mercy's HR-01 Fleet Safety Policy. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Passing the Driver's License Check and/or Credit Check (for those positions requiring). Passing the WI Caregiver Background Check and/or IL Health Care Workers Background Check. Must be able to follow written/oral instructions. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Exceptional interpersonal/communication skills. Serve as a resource for both Supply Chain partners and internal customers for all aspects of inventory management, receiving and supply-related activities. Demonstrated competency with standard Mercyhealth applications such as Outlook, MS Office and MS Excel. WORK ENVIRONMENT The noise level in the work environment can be loud. INFORMATION ACCESS Partner may access patient care information, financial data, human resource data and strategic and planning data needed to perform their job duties as directed by the director.
