ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:




  • Performs process audits to assure conformance to documented criteria.
  • Preparation and maintenance of PPAP packages.
  • Initiates action to prevent the occurrence on any nonconformity relating to product, process, and quality systems.
  • Verifies production control for corrective action and documentation, per applicable work instructions.
  • Performs outgoing inspection, including visual check, label and standard pack, gage as required, and document all results
  • Treats all other team members with respect and dignity.
  • Conducts special reports as well as regular monthly and/or quarterly reports for affected or selected products. Reports include but are not limited to:

  • CP/CPK or PP/PPK analysis and management reviews
  • Pictorials and/or Summaries
  • Customer reporting
  • Weld capability analysis - 1st run and overall capability
  • Pareto charting or defects and trends
  • TCO actions and follow up
  • Gage R & R studies - conduct, calculate


  • Sets up, loads, maintains, and trains the use of SPC computer software as needed.
  • Leads and/ or participates in problem solving activities/ 8
  • Process weekly and monthly reports.
  • Issues, revises and updates controlled documents (i.e. work instructions, forms, job descriptions, prints, Quality Policy, Standard Operating Procedures and Midway Standards.)
  • Assists the Quality/Environmental Management Representative in performing any applicable function related to the quality or environmental management systems.
  • Performs other essential functions as assigned.
  • Contact suppliers of any quality issues.
  • Coordinate sort activities with the supplier representative.
  • Performs process audits to assure conformance to documented criteria.


JOB QUALIFACTIONS REQUIREMENTS:




  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prefer experience and/or knowledge in stamping, welding and dimensional layout.
