What You'll Do As a Buyer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our operations and R&D teams have what they need-when they need it. You'll manage purchasing activities for indirect materials and services, ensuring smart decisions that balance cost, quality, and timing. You'll thrive if you: Think strategically while managing the day-to-day Enjoy negotiating competitive pricing and building supplier partnerships Like solving complex sourcing problems with a calm and practical mindset Your Impact Will Include Issuing POs and RFQs for services and MRO purchases with speed and accuracy Collaborating with Engineering, R&D, and Operations to align on sourcing needs Maintaining accurate ERP data and VMI programs (we use Microsoft D365) Monitoring supplier performance and coordinating returns Contributing to continuous improvement across the supply chain Driving vendor accountability and cost savings What You Bring to the Table 3-4+ years of purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing Strong knowledge of Indirect and MRO procurement Familiarity with machine shops, fabrication, and technical buying preferred Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel fans welcome!) Experience with Microsoft D365 or other ERP/e-procurement tools is a plus Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and supplier management skills Bonus Points If You Can: Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Communicate across all levels of the organization with ease Work Environment You'll work primarily from our Middletown, Ohio office, with occasional visits to the warehouse and production floor (PPE provided).
