Description

Alliance Technical Group is the largest exclusive air emissions monitoring services company in the United States and we are still growing. We are filling a Regional Safety Manager position for the North East United States, specifically for the Pittsburg, PA area. The salary range for this position is going to be between $70,000 to $80,000 annually based on experience and with paid time off, great benefits, and quarterly profit-sharing bonuses. Essential Functions:

  • Manage incidents by ensuring thorough and timely reporting, investigation, and follow
  • Ensure office, site, and equipment inspections are completed in accordance with Federal, State, and Company requirements.
  • Ensure employee safety training is adequate and
  • Provide and / or coordinate additional safety related training as needed.
  • Manage site safety coordinators operating within their designated region.
  • Act as point of contact for addressing employee concerns regarding health and safety at all facilities within their region.
  • Implement, support, and monitor all Alliance safety programs and procedures to ensure that operations are meeting safety requirements and highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Assist in building and implementing site safety plans for Alliance sites / offices as
  • Responsible for maintaining all safety data sheets for chemicals that are used at Alliance or customer facilities and offices.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position may have supervisory duties.

Work Environment:

This job operates in both an office and field setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Field work will require the use of personal protective equipment.

Physical Demands:

This is a hybrid field / office role. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer or driving. Field visits will require walking, climbing, and observations.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work may vary.

Travel:

Ability to travel domestically as needed within a designated geographic region. Approximately 70% travel.

Preferred Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Environmental Health, or Public Health, or 5 years of related experience.
  • CHST certification or
  • Knowledgeable of OSHA rules and requirements, and industry
  • Effective organizational
