Job Duties:
Graduate Assistants (GAs) are graduate students paid to perform job duties relevant to their academic field under the guidance and direction of faculty or program staff to complement and enhance their academic learning.

Graduate Assistants may be eligible to:
Purchase affordable state-sanctioned health and dental insurance if they meet benefit eligibility criteria (optional). Pay in-state resident tuition rates if they meet additional academic and immigration eligibility requirements.
Required Qualifications:

1.Is in good academic standing (GPA 3.0 or higher.) 2.Is on track to complete your degree within the program completion timeline 3.Is enrolled in at least 6 graduate degree credits each semester that you will be a Graduate Assistant. 4.Has no "In Progress" grades for three or more semesters (excluding summers.) 5.Has not been suspended from the University and has not been found guilty of academic misconduct. *Note: F-1 visa holders who accept GA positions may work a maximum of 20 hours per week for all campus jobs combined.
