Job Title: Graphics Specialist - Trial Support Key Responsibilities:
Create a variety of visual materials including charts, timelines, maps, crime scene diagrams, video compilations, and trial presentation databases.
Collaborate closely with prosecutors, paralegals, law enforcement officials, and expert witnesses to develop accurate and effective exhibits.
Provide courtroom testimony on the accuracy of visual exhibits when required.
Support trial teams by setting up and managing courtroom presentation systems, including equipment like clickers, easels, hard drives, and laptops.
Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere) and other tools such as Evidence.com, Google Earth Pro, and SketchUp to:
Convert and edit audio/video files
Track, highlight, redact, and annotate individuals/objects in video footage
Create visual aids such as communication timelines and scene reconstructions
Build and manage trial presentation databases using software like Trial Director or OnCue.
Provide basic IT support related to connectivity and equipment (Wi-Fi, VPN, printers, networking) in support of trial presentations.
Qualifications:
Proven trial experience with the ability to support all phases of pretrial and trial preparation.
Proficiency with courtroom presentation software such as Trial Director and Sanction.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in high-pressure, team-based environments.
Willingness and ability to travel for extended periods and work long hours as needed.
Experience collaborating with legal teams to script presentations, manage exhibits, and troubleshoot courtroom technologies.
Desired: familiarity with litigation support software such as Relativity, iCONECT, and CaseMap.
