The Marketing team

The Marketing team at Okta is responsible for driving awareness, demand, and growth across all segments. We're a dynamic group focused on connecting our innovative identity solutions with businesses and partners, empowering them to thrive securely in the digital world.

Sr. Director of Enterprise Field Marketing, Americas

Sr. Director of Enterprise Field Marketing for the Americas will lead a team of 10 to 15 demand generation professionals focused on the Enterprise market segment across the Americas. The role reports to the Vice President of Field & Partner Marketing, Americas.

What you'll be doing



  • Develop and execute comprehensive demand generation strategies for enterprise customers and prospects across the Americas, encompassing Field Marketing, Alliance Partner Marketing, and SI Partner Marketing.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of field and partner marketing professionals.
  • Drive strategic alignment with Sales leadership to develop and execute marketing programs that directly contribute to pipeline and revenue goals for the enterprise segment.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of field marketing activities, including events, webinars, and localized campaigns, to drive engagement and demand with enterprise accounts.
  • Develop and manage marketing programs with key alliance and SI partners to co-generate demand, expand reach, and accelerate joint sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the Digital Campaigns team to ensure integrated digital execution and optimize performance of online programs targeting enterprise customers.
  • Partner with the ABM/ABX (Account-Based Marketing) team to design and implement highly personalized marketing initiatives for strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify new opportunities for demand generation and refine existing strategies.
  • Manage budget allocation and demonstrate strong ROI on all marketing programs.


What you'll bring to the role & what we're looking for



  • 10+ years of progressive experience in B2B marketing, with a significant focus on enterprise demand generation, field marketing, and channel/partner marketing.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving pipeline and revenue growth in a fast-paced, high-growth technology company.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing diverse marketing teams.
  • Deep understanding of the enterprise sales cycle and the role of marketing in generating and accelerating opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute innovative digital marketing programs in partnership with digital campaigns and ABX teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.


Additional skills we value



  • Experience in the identity or cybersecurity industry.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo).

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:
$232,000 $348,000 USD
