Student Orientation and Family Engagement is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join the already awesome team, taking the department to the next level of excellence! The Coordinator will contribute to the selection and training of Orientation Leaders, support leadership development initiatives, and manage logistics across all six Georgia State University campuses, including the online campus. Additionally, the Coordinator will help implement orientation programming designed to deliver high-quality customer service and foster a strong sense of belonging among our diverse incoming student population. Key Responsibilities: * New Student Orientation: Responsible for the planning and execution of all new undergraduate orientations; Manages Slate registration for the New Student Orientation team; Ensures continuous review and improvement of orientation program and content; Liaise with campus partners to provide collaborative and efficient programs. * Communication: Responsible for maintenance of related University websites, catalog information, and electronic and printed communications; Manages various communication flows to NSO registrants/participants and parent/family members; Presents at prospective student events, online workshops, and orientations. * Recruitment, Supervision & Training: Responsible for recruiting, supervising, and training a team of Orientation Leaders. This requires coordinating across multiple departments, creating and revising curriculum, and overseeing the administration of a comprehensive recruitment and training program. * Data Management: Ensure that NSO data in Slate and Banner is accurate, consistent, and secure; Manage continuous improvement, updates, and optimal use of ADG 'Start @ State' software program; Collect and use data related to NSO to reflect onboarding effectiveness; Respond to all requests for NSO data. * Service: Serve as main point of contact for Orientation programs; Respond to inquiries and manage the orientation@gsu.edu inbox; discuss issues and concerns with attendees and collaborate with the Director as needed.
