Demand Planner Manager

The Demand Planner
Manager is responsible for leading the
demand planning function, ensuring accurate forecasting to meet customer
demand. This role involves managing a
team that includes Master Data Specialists and Inventory Analysts, ensuring a
seamless integration of data management and analytical insights into the demand
planning and supply chain process.
Key Tasks
Demand Planning:
Owner of demand plan for all purchased raw materials. Driver of continuous improvement of forecast accuracy to provide the most reliable materials supply to production.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive best in class demand planning process.
Translate demand plan into purchasing forecast for buyers and suppliers monthly.
Analyze, validate and consolidate multiple forecast input streams to generate a single version of the demand plan across all business units.
Team Management:
Lead and develop Master Data Specialists and Inventory Analysts, oversee operations to correct discrepancies and ensure quality.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration with the team to achieve goals.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide development opportunities for team members.
Cross train to help ensure strong team dynamics.
Data Management:
Oversee Master Data Specialist in maintaining accurate lifecycle, creations, updates, deletions and archiving functions related to products and suppliers.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across all systems and processes.
Implement best practices for data management with team.
Analytics and Reporting:
Manage team in analyzing demand patterns, identifying trends and providing actionable insights.
Develop and present regular reports on inventory levels and key performance indicators.
Implement solutions with data analytics to enhance efficiency, accuracy and responsiveness to inventory levels.
Drive team to stay up on industry trends and best practices.

Your Background
Bachelor's degree in business administration, inventory management, supply chain, finance, accounting or equivalent years of experience acceptable.
Strong MRP knowledge required (Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred)
In-depth knowledge of demand planning, forecasting and scheduling processes and methodologies.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Self-driven - Team player
5+ years of work experience in inventory management and/or supply chain management in manufacturing environment and 2+ years of work experience in a demand planning or demand analyst role
Other
qualifications or experiences.
