Aon is looking for an Associate Consultant within Employee Rewards!

As member of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as being in our Rewards Solutions business group. Rewards Solutions is a unit of the Human Capital Solutions practice at Aon.

This role falls under Aon's early career development program, known as Launch. Building on the development colleagues receive in the role they are hired into, the program is a supplemental development program for recent college recruits.

This Program was established to mentor and develop future business leaders. This program "launches" the Aon careers of our campus hires in various full-time positions across the company. The development program begins every summer and includes in-person sessions, networking opportunities, self-study and global leader calls.

Your Impact as an Associate Compensation Consultant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze competitive compensation practices in a defined labor market
  • Perform specialized research studies on a range of compensation topics, as assigned
  • Analyze and interpret data and prepare summary reports
  • Provide routine, day-to-day support to consultants regarding the interpretation of data and findings
  • Maintain and update compensation and financial databases

Act as a trusted advisor for industry leading organizations looking to recruit and retain top employee talent in this fierce and ever changing digital age. New members of the Employee Rewards team will collaborate right away with internal and external project teams to build outstanding pay programs tailored to each organization's needs. Help our clients grow through an era of accelerated disruption and work with our team of expert leaders with vision to develop total rewards strategy and analysis, career progression / job leveling, salary structures, incentive plan design, M&A integration, job architecture and much more!

What are we looking for?

  • Ability to communicate optimally, both orally and in writing
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; must be able to identify problems and solutions
  • Strong social skills and ability to work optimally in a team environment
  • Strong research, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong digital literacy, including: Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel spreadsheets, Word processing, PowerPoint, e-mail and internet tools
Education & Application Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, preferably with a focus in Finance, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics. Other majors will also be considered.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $60,000 to $70,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Norwalk, CT. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
