Hourly Pay Range:

$30.46 - $45.69 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Recruiter, IT
  • Location: Skokie, IL
  • Employee Type: Per Diem, 40 hours
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am - 7:30pm
  • Required Travel: Within the System, across sites, as needed
  • Timeframe: 6 months

This position is dedicated to supporting our IT roles and projects by sourcing, attracting, and hiring top IT talent. The role is initially focused on IT recruitment needs, but upon successful completion of current projects, the position may transition to support another service line within the organization, depending on the business hiring needs.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for recruitment of exempt and non-exempt employees within Endeavor Health.
  • Confers with hiring managers to determine staffing and recruitment needs and to understand required/preferred employee competencies.
  • Insures posting of open position information online, including job summary and requirements, accurately and promptly upon receipt of approved personnel requisitions.
  • Performs or oversees the review of employment applications of external and internal applicants to determine qualifications of applicants. Performs or oversees the initial screen. Reviews initial interview results to determine qualifications and appropriate fit in position/work environment.
  • Provides candidates with salary and benefit information.
  • May conduct additional interviews in cooperation with hiring manager. Refers qualified candidates to department managers for final interview.
  • Works with hiring managers to evaluate candidates for hire. Determines a starting salary by partnering with the hiring manager. Extends official employment offer and verifies start date. Works with hiring manager and HR leadership to negotiate offer terms as necessary.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, preferred
  • Certification:
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of IT recruiting experience
    • 5+ years of Human Resources experience
    • Workday ATS experience
  • Unique or Preferred Skills:
    • Must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
    • Must have strong attention to detail
    • Must be a persuasive and effective communicator, with the ability to relate to people across all levels and diverse backgrounds
    • Must work well in a fast paced, multi-site, complex and changing environment
