Job Details

A successful candidate will be open to navigating high volume of incoming Accounts Payable (AP) hard copy mail and email submissions, outbound AP mail including check payments, special handling needs for outbound mail and related reporting, fielding incoming calls for the AP hotline, and various additional ad hoc tasks. This is a hybrid role. Must be able to work onsite in Conshohocken, PA on Mondays and Thursdays.

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily accounts payable activities including, but not limited to, organizing electronic files and maintaining Accounts Payable (AP) workflow, in accordance with standard operating procedures.

  • Field incoming calls for the AP hotline, and various additional ad hoc tasks.

  • Facilitates the payment process by ensuring all required documentation is accompanied with the payment request.

  • Takes phone calls and responds to any questions from departments or vendors as it relates to invoice payments.

  • Maintains frequent contact with internal and external customers to address all payment issues.

  • May assist other team members as well as the Accounts Payable Lead Team in departmental initiatives.

  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience

Requires general knowledge of business administration, accountancy, bookkeeping, billing/invoicing, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through a combination of work experience and/or completion of relevant college courses.
