Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Messer according to the specifications.
- Work to adjust and operate speed and control the load of the machines.
- Work at different workstations throughout as production needs require.
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products.
- Operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding tools.
- Manage the operation of all types of machines and work to ensure that they are well-maintained.
- Operation of lifting devices as needed.
- Inspect and test cylinders for visual or structural defects.
- Monitor the finished products obtained to ensure the quality conforms to the specifications.
- Look for opportunities to get involved in safety, environmental, process changes and overall improvement efforts.
- Follow all EHS guidelines and applicable procedures.
- Read, understand, and follow the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and EHS Work Instructions.
- Report any unsafe conditions or incidents in a timely manner to their supervisor or any member of management.
- Shut down process if unsafe. Follow proper machine shutdown procedures.

- Must be dependable and self-motivated.

- Be able to contribute to and support the existence of a positive work environment.
- Can pay attention to the operations of the machinery.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
- Must attend, complete, and implement required in-house training.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Ability to obtain Manchester Tank's ASME weld certification.
- Ability to obtain Manchester Tank's crane certification.
- Ability to obtain Manchester Tank's lockout/tagout certification.
- Ability to obtain Manchester Tank's forklift certification.
