Are you ready to take on a dynamic sales role with Voith Paper Fabric & Roll Systems in the Southeast sales region? Join our team and use your skills to identify and develop business growth opportunities for multiple paper machine fabric and roll products. Collaborate with the your team members, management, and others to develop solutions to customer issues while promoting Voith business. Responsibilities: Customer Engagement:Work closely with customer decision-makers to understand their goals and needs and effectively communicate these within Voith. Business Planning:Develop and execute business plans for specific accounts, aligning with customer goals and the regional business strategy. Data Analysis:Collect and analyze customer data to monitor product performance, differentiate Voith products from competitors, and identify continuous improvement opportunities at customer sites. Account Management:Manage accounts to meet or exceed budget targets for sales and orders while also managing claims and complaints, accounts receivable, and travel & entertainment expenses. Team Collaboration:Communicate regularly with the sales manager and team members to ensure proper account coverage, service activities, and outage support - both planned and unplanned. Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work with Voith customer service, manufacturing, applications, and administrative support to achieve objectives as well as with other Voith businesses to share opportunities. Sales Forecasting:Maintain sales forecasting and manage growth opportunities for the future. Customer Relationship Management:Use various software (SalesForce, Global Vision, etc.) to maintain customer relationship information. Sales and Service Calls:Make sales and service calls to customer mills, perform routine inspections and technical service functions, and respond to unscheduled outages and specific needs as they arise. Reporting:Publish visit and measurement reports via SalesForce to communicate and archive mill activities. Installations and Inventory Management:Coordinate and assist in installations, and keep the appropriate database updated for inventory management. Value-Added Promotion:Promote value-added products and technical services, and present necessary data analysis or reports for customer understanding and acceptance. Requirements: Education:High School Diploma or equivalent required. Secondary education preferred but not required. Experience:Experience in technical/industrial sales or the paper industry preferred. Knowledge of paper machine roll mechanics or cover applications is a plus. Travel:Willingness to travel frequently, primarily by car. Overnight hotel stays required at times. Skills:Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Analytical thinking and familiarity with standard Microsoft software programs. Ability to demonstrate data analysis experience and discuss methodology and tools. Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly required to talk or hear. Frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, handling or feeling, and reaching with hands and arms are required. Standard Personal Protective Equipment, including ear plugs, hard-hat, safety glasses, safety-toed shoes, and fall-protection harnesses, is frequently required.
