We are excited to add a new Vice President, International & Emerging Business to our commercial team! The position will pay between $252,000- $308,000 base plus annual bonus and equity. Compensation will be based on previous relevant experience, educational credentials, and location. This is a remote position with average of 50% travel.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Primary focus is to establish distributors across multiple countries while driving distributor excellence through compliance and growth strategies. Manage large complex cross functional projects across the organization. Manage and expand existing international business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • International commercial lead and subject matter expert participating with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives
  • Key decision maker on implementation and ensuring operational effectiveness
  • Effectively cascades functional strategy and contributes to development of organizational policies
  • Accountable for actions that impact function or multiple department budgets



EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Required: Demonstrated ability in moving markets direct from distributor. Must be familiar with distributor excellence programs that will help to ensure the success of establishing distribution in new countries.



  • Bachelors' degree required; MBA Preferred
  • 15+ years experience in a strategic role with at least 10 years in healthcare related field (e.g. Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, or Biotechnology)
  • 8+ years experience working in an international capacity
  • Previous Project Management experience required
  • Ability to work in highly ambiguous situations and still drive organizational alignment

    • Take in large volumes of information and break it into digestible insights for nimble decision-making.


  • Familiarity with a variety of operating models and planning best practices

  • Leadership capabilities to manage large global cross functional teams
  • Ability to build strong relationships with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Flexible/adaptable; able to work under short deadlines and adapt to changing priorities and plans
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy; resourcefulness


  • Proficient in MS Office and analytical productivity tools
  • Proficient in multi-tasking, prioritizing several simultaneous projects, and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work well with executive leadership and a wide variety of cross-functional areas and outside vendors in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to influence colleagues throughout the organization as well as external collaborators
  • Ability to prioritize and respond with a sense of urgency to all inquiries and requests
