This team manages the end-to-end registration process, from strategy and build to onsite execution and reporting. We are a collaborative and results-oriented group dedicated to operational excellence.

About the Role

Salesforce Strategic Events is searching for an Associate Manager, Registration Operations to join the Registration Center of Excellence. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of registration operations, actively contributing to the successful planning, execution, and optimization of registration for our large-scale events within the Strategic Events portfolio.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and attendee experience.

Responsibilities
  • Support the end-to-end registration lifecycle for various large-scale conferences, from strategy and planning to testing and execution.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., Event Technology, Marketing, Legal, Creative, Security) and assist in managing external vendors and agencies to ensure seamless execution.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key internal partners and manage day-to-day agency registration team relations.

  • Liaise closely with the customer service team to resolve attendee-related registration issues and escalations efficiently.

  • Manage specific operational details for assigned events, including access control, security protocols, badge rules, design processes, and check-in procedures.

  • Analyze registration data and contribute to actionable insights and reporting.

  • Travel on-site to lead or support registration activities during events.

  • Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks and issues related to registration operations.

  • Act as a subject matter expert and key contributor within the Registration Operations team, supporting overall goals and fostering team excellence through documentation and continuous process improvements.

  • Monitor and report on operational costs related to registration elements, seeking efficiencies where possible.

Required Skills and Experience
  • 3-5 years of successful event registration experience.

  • Proven experience leading day-to-day relations for agency registration teams.

  • Highly organized and meticulous, with exceptional project and time management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with leadership, Salesforce partners, and external agencies.

  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team environment, thriving on shared goals and mutual support.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with complex requirements, competing priorities, and last-minute changes.

  • Adept at working on multiple projects concurrently, setting priorities, working independently, problem-solving, improvising, and functioning effectively under pressure.

  • Self-starter who can prioritize workload in a strict deadline-oriented environment, and proficiently manage up on tasks and communication.

  • Willingness to take on additional tasks and roles with a "can-do" attitude, and comfort with organizational ambiguity.

  • Willing and able to effectively work remotely and travel on-site both domestically and internationally (approx. 30%).

  • Strong knowledge of RainFocus is highly preferred; familiarity with Salesforce, Slack, and Google Suite is a plus.
