Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking a Quality Technician to join our team in Watertown, SD. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting fabricated parts produced by Pivotal Fab and Powder, ensuring all components meet customer standards and internal quality standards. This position plays a key role in identifying, documenting, and coordinating corrective actions for non-conforming materials, while collaborating with fabrication, shipping, and management teams to drive quality improvement initiatives.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Inspect fabricated parts to verify compliance with engineering drawings and customer specifications
  • Segregate and document non-conforming materials and workmanship reported internally or by customers
  • Coordinate rework or replacement of non-conforming parts in collaboration with customers and internal teams
  • Work with the fabrication and management teams to identify and implement improvements to prevent recurrence of quality issues
  • Support the development of new processes and system enhancements to reduce quality-relate costs and defects
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and maturation of the PFP quality system
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or relevant experience in quality, manufacturing, or fabrication preferred
  • Experience with fabrication processes such as laser cutting, press brake operations, or welding is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and technical drawings
  • Strong critical thinking and mechanical aptitude
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for interaction with team members and customers
  • Basic computer proficiency (e.g., data entry, email, inspection software)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during high-pressure or fast-paced situations
  • Commitment to promoting and maintaining quality and safety standards
