Essential Functions: This position is responsible for the following tasks, duties and responsibilities:



  • Operates all production and manual equipment with minimal instruction. Assists in the setup of manual and CNC equipment.
  • Measures parts, makes offsets and changes inserts with minimal direction.
  • Consistently maintains green light and efficiency objectives.
  • Performs all duties in the most cost efficient and cost effective manner. Improves efficiencies whenever practical.
  • Maintains production objectives.
  • Performs quality control checks on parts produced, using measurements from Blueprints, Travelers and/or Quality Plans. Provides accurate reports on checks being done.
  • Inspects and keeps accurate count of parts. Accurately records labor hours and quantity of parts produced.
  • Ability to identify quality problems.
  • Performs machine shut down procedures at end of shift as required.
  • Performs all duties in a safe, efficient manner and observe all appropriate Company safety regulations.


Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



  • Knowledge of the equipment, materials, methods and practices used in machining operations.
  • Working knowledge of the manufacturing production process.
  • Knowledge of related safety requirements to include proper use of safety equipment and proper safety precautions.
  • Knowledge of basic measuring skills in a production environment.
  • Ability to understand and follow routine oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.


Experience and Skills Required: Graduation from high school plus completion of a two-year program in machining or equivalent on the job training. OJT must be 1 year or more.

Compensation Hourly Range: OTC6: $23.27 - $32.60per hour. The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(K) match, etc.
