Job Summary

Job Summary

Reporting to the Executive Director - Women and Philanthropy, the Program Relations Administrator is a professional who applies acquired job skills, policies, and procedures to complete substantive assignments. They will help to implement complex programs, events and / or communication strategies designed to inform alumni and key constituencies of institutional programs, activities, policies, and practices. In addition to these items, the incumbent will display analytical and critical thinking skills as they work on projects and events, while also solving complex tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience providing project management experience in fast-paced environment with competing demands, including skills to strategically plan and implement successful events working with large/small volunteer groups.
  • Experience using computer software (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Canva, Doodle Poll, Survey Monkey etc.) to produce complex spreadsheets and reports, extract data, database management, and create presentations, project calendars, correspondence and detailed brieng materials.
  • Experience creating, managing and monitoring budgets. Processing expenses, enforcing policies and processes.
  • Experience working in a professional oce environment that requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, interpersonal skills. Have an acute understanding of customer service and business processes to create and maintain professional, collaborative relationships with colleagues, donors, volunteers, and senior leadership.
  • Experience using critical thinking, organizational and time management skills. Experience providing administrative, analytical and program support to high-level executives in a highly condential, fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience participating in a college, university, non-prot organization, or other large complex institution.
  • Experience with Advance (AIS), Aggie Travel, and Aggie Buy.
  • Familiarity with online survey tools such as Survey Monkey. Experience with hosting features in Zoom.
  • Knowledge of development - fundraising profession and of contemporary issues and methods of fundraising and engaging events and stewardship. Familiarity with campus-wide offices, administrative contacts, campus structure and resources.

Work Environment

UC Davis is a smoke and tobacco free campus effective January 1, 2014.
