Job Title: Account Payable specialist/ Accounts Payable Analyst Pay rate: $30.00 /hr. on w2 without benefits Location:101 Friendship Street Providence RI 02903 Duration: 12+ months (possible extension) Hours/week: 35 Hours 8:00 AM 4:00 PM Must have: Associate's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration. Account Payable experience (4-5 years). Workday software experience. Roles and Responsibilities: Employment in a position with responsibility for the preparation and processing of accounts payable in a state agency or private business operation, or employment with responsibility for a specific accounts payable function. This candidate will assist with all work stabilization projects; creation of requisitions/POs for new contracts in workday for residential facilities. Along with processing change order requests for any amendment requested to a contract. Review and approve tuition, out of pocket, and travel reimbursements. Process payment for Higher Ed for youth looking to continue their education. They will also assist in processing CERF's and requisitions in Workday for invoices received for services/ goods that has been provided to DCYF/RITS. And submit POs for payment. Assist on special projects and other duties. Required Education: An associate's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
