We are looking for an Ecosystem Lead, Neurology who is a dynamic, successful sales leader to manage our epilepsy sales team in the Great Plains US region.

This is a field-based position responsible for setting overall strategy and tactical pull-through for the local ecosystem aligned to U.S. Neurology objectives and goals, ultimately accountable for the overall health of the local ecosystem. The neurology sales team promotes UCB's neurology products to leading epileptologists and neurologists throughout the assigned Great Plains US geography which includes Most of New Mexico, western Colorado (i.e., Denver), southeastern Wyoming, eastern Nebraska (i.e., Nebraska), central Iowa, central Missouri (i.e., Missouri, Kansas City), eastern Kansas, most of Illinois, southern Wisconsin, southern Minnesota, and small eastern portion of South Dakota.

Preferably candidates should live within the ecosystem geography.

More than ~50% travel is required.

About the role

The Ecosystem Lead will develop and execute against a Strategic Plan for the ecosystem success, including expected business, political, cultural, and professional issues relating to healthcare delivery at the local health market level. They are responsible for leading, managing, coaching, and developing the local Ecosystem Engagement Team of 8-12 employees consisting of Provider Liaisons and Neurology Associates in the performance of their roles and role-specific competencies, and coordinating the activities of all external commercial facing colleagues involved in patient value creation in the pursuit of US Neurology strategy and goals.

What you'll do

  • Responsible for development and coaching to tracking, trending, and documenting appropriate and relevant market dynamics related to the treatment of epilepsy, particularly the use of branded drug therapies, and translating relevant insights back to the US Neurology Field Leadership Team
  • Monthly monitoring and reporting on performance versus plan, including individual performance
  • Ensure an exceptional experience for all key stakeholders: across internal and external matrix
  • Responsible for Ecosystem success to meet and exceed stakeholder expectations across all brands and outlets

  • Medical and business leads at designated ACOs, networks, and health systems within the ecosystem
  • KOLs / TLs associated with systems
  • HCPs
  • Patients / patient advocacy groups

Interested? For this role, we're looking for the following education, experience, and skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 7 years in stakeholder-facing roles within health care
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience leading multidisciplinary and/or matrixed teams
  • Minimum performance rating of "meets expectations" or better on two most recent performance reviews

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership skills in managing, developing, and influencing teams preferred
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communications
  • Demonstrated strength in business planning, tactical plan development and execution
  • Demonstrated ability to model and work within a highly collaborative matrix

This position's reasonably anticipated salary range is $176k - $231k per year. The actual salary offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
